Wizards and Witches

Photography of Events

As a Loch Lomond based photographer I am asked to photograph many of the events that take place in the National Park. This is coverage of the excellent Wizards and Witches Weekend at Loch Katrine.

Loch Katrine and its iconic Sir Walter Scott Steamship, are one of my commercial clients. I help to promote the destination with marketing and PR. This event is part of an exciting calendar of family themed experiences at the Trossachs attraction. You can read more about my marketing work for Loch Katrine at the link below.

Wizards & Witches

For the weekend Trossachs Pier and the Sir Walter Scott Steamship received a magical transformation. Special sets, themed areas and costumed characters brought the exciting theme to life.

Loch Katrine Photography

Here are some photographs of some of the characters that helped to make the Wizards and Witches weekend at Loch Katrine such a success.

Trossachs Pier

The Wizards and Witches theming at Trossachs Pier work well, with fun experiences and activities for children to enjoy.

In 2020 the Sir Walter Scott Steamship will have been in service for 120 years on Loch Katrine. For the weekend it got a new name, ‘The Flying Broomstick.’

Magical Steam Ship

The children with their magic wands created a special spell that covered the steamship in magic. On board the actors played games and activities with the children and told them the story of Loch Katrine’s Goblin Cave as they sailed past it.

Little Critters

Back on Trossachs Pier Stirling based Little Critters brought along owls.

Loch Katrine Events

We look forward to photographing more of the Loch Katrine events taking place later in the season. Check out their website and Facebook page for more information about the popular destination in The Trossachs.
