Brothers' Point, Skye

Rubha nam Brathairean

This is my photography blog of Rubha nam Brahairean - Brothers’ Point, located near Staffin around 12 miles from Portree. To get there by car follow the A855 and look out for a lay-by at Culnacnoc. Here’s the location on the map.

This is another gem that I’ve been lucky enough to explore thanks to friends in Portree, Skye. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, as it had been a wet start to the day. By mid-afternoon on a Sunday in July the sun was shining and the light provided some vibrant colours to enhance the landscape.

To get it Brothers’ Point from the parking spot take a short walk down a track towards the sea.

Continue along the coast line to get to the cliff pictured below. You’ll need a head for heights at the last point where the path narrows.

Here are some more photographs taken around this dramatic section of coastline.
